A Rescue By Veterinary Professionals
We are a 501 (c)(3) rescue located in the Grand Rapids/West Michigan area. Our board is made up of veterinary professionals with a common goal to rescue and maintain a high level of care for our animals. We take and adopt out any animal considered a pet. Please no large/farm animals or illegal exotic pets. All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations before adoption. Vaccination boosters may be necessary after adoption, especially when adopting puppies or kittens. All our rabbits are spayed/neutered before adoption. For our adoption process, please fill out an adoption application. Once that is approved, we will have a short conversation with you, and then we can set up a meet and greet to see if we can find a pet that is a match for you. We strive to maintain a judgement-free zone. We understand that life circumstances change and you may need to surrender your pet. If you are in this position, please contact us and we will help you to the best of our ability. We are a foster-based rescue; however, we do have a property where most of our adoptable animals reside. Most of our fosters take on medical cases that need specialised care. If you are interested in fostering, whether it is a special case or healthy animals, please contact us! Enchanted Tails will provide all supplies needed and pay for all veterinary care. We need volunteers outside of fostering too! We need help with transport, help at adoption events, volunteers to take care of our cats at Petco, or someone to come walk or play with the animals at our property.
